This Is Our Time
I have learnd a lot about life that was obvious but I hadn't really thought of it. This was brought to my attention by Kid President on YouTube. Kid President talked about this being our time and that we need to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to us now. FBLA is an organization that allows us to learn valuable knowledge about the business world, challenge ourselves, and travel the United States. FBLA members work hard to get where they are at in FBLA. Some may think that working on the Business Achievement Awards is a breeze, but let me tell you that it is very hard work. I'm not complaining about it because this betters my future. All it takes is a hard work and determination. So from Kid President, a third grader, I learned that in life I need to take ahold of my opportunities and work as hard as I can. I also learned that we never stop learning and it does not matter the age of the teacher. Kids will sometimes teach us the best lessons that we need to learn in life, all it takes is a pair of ears to hear them. They are our future generation and the more education that we teach them and help them for their futures, the better the world will be for everyone. Kid President is on YouTube and if you have not watched one of his videos, then you HAVE to. It is a must for everyone. Thanks for reading and don't forget to be more awesome!

Leadership Conference
The State Leadership Conference is coming up! I cannot explain how excited I am! I am so excited that I keep using exclamation points. Anyway, I cannot wait to go back. This will be my third year that I have attended SLC. The past two years have been a blast. Everything is professional at SLC. Our state coordinator is a very hard worker to make sure that everything is perfect, and it always is. Our state offices also work just as hard. They put on great workshops and challenge themselves to do their best. When attending the SLC I always feel that I am with the best of the best future business leaders. Maybe that is because I am. I feel honored to know that I earned my way to the SLC, just as everyone else has. I love meeting new friends! It is so much fun. I hope to see you there!

FBLA (2)
And I am back! My first blog was pretty fun to create. I have the freedom to say what I want, and I like that. But I will stay true to all the facts about Future Business Leaders of America. I would like to spread the word about an awesome program that FBLA offers to their members. It's called "Business Achievement Awards."
The Business Achievement Awards (BAA) is made up of four different levels of activities. The first level is calld "Future." Students can sign up for this level at any time once they are inducted into FBLA. This level has around 15 different activities that students must complete before earning this level. Each level is set up the same way, but as the student progresses the levels become more difficult in order to challenge the student to make sure that they are the future business leaders.
Right now I am working on the America level which is the fouth and final level. I have had a blast with the past three levels. They have taught me so much about how to be a business leader and how it will be in the real world. I am glad that I started the BAA and finally have reached the final level. Although the activities can be a little difficult sometimes, it is totally worth it and I have gained much knowledge.
I highly recommend FBLA members getting started as soon as they can in the Business Achievement Awards. They help you out in so many ways. The benefits are endless. All it takes is hard work and determination!

Future Business Leaders of America
Hello blogging world! This is my very first blog. How exciting is that? I guess I will talk about one of the clubs that I am involved in. This club allows members to gain leadership skills, learn business knowledge, and prepares members for the real world. This club is Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
FBLA started back in 1937 by Dr. Hamden L. Forkner. There different levels of FBLA. The high school level is the one that I am talking about today--FBLA. Phi Beta Lamda is the collegiate level of FBLA with over 11,000 students. There is also a Professional Division for adults who love business. And the last division that FBLA is made up of is for grades 5-9 called FBLA-Middle Level. Overall FBLA has 215,000+ members and the organization continues to grow rapidly.
FBLA members are allowed to participate in the District Leadership Conference (DLC). This is an program with over 50 competitive events that are business related. Students can do up to three events each year. I am always trying to do the most I can, so each year I compete in three different events. These events are really fun and I learn a lot from them.
That was just a little bit of what FBLA is. I will for sure keep posting more blogs about the wonderful FBLA. I hope you got something out of this and consider joining if you are not yet a member. Trust me it will forever change your life!
